When you have been waiting for something for a long time, it is important to clutch onto faith and hope. Do not drown in shallow waters. When you began this journey you were strong, cocked and ready for it. But the longer it takes to manifest, the more weary you get. The more tumultuous your experience. Sometimes you are up, other times you are down. It’s even worse when you are going through a secret battle. When you cry yourself to sleep, cry in the morning, put on your smile, the same way you put on your make up and go out in the world. But thank God for the Holy Spirit who gives us His joy, that ours may be complete. This has been my experience in the last 48 hours. I have been crying in the morning, in the evening and then getting on with it. In the middle of my day, I will find I am filled with joy. Thank you Holy Spirit.
1. You cannot take the presence of a storm to indicate the absence of God. He is there in the storm with you, whether or not you see Him. He does not engage in the sensual (throughout the senses) but in the spirit. We must therefore engage with Him in the spirit. Hence the importance of the Word- the righteous walk by faith and not by sight. He reveals Himself through His word.
2. Don’t make a temporary situation permanent. Don’t think this is your last bus stop. He never promised to keep the people that come along. He’s brought men along your way but they haven’t been your boyfriends, neither have they exhibited what He would like as husbands. In fact Ciru, God has already shown you the final step. He showed you your husband…you have seen his face. You have seen your daughter’s face, both in a vision….so what is it again? Cling to the blessed hope and the Word in Numbers that says He is not a liar. He will surely bring it to pass.
3. Don’t trust your emotions. Your emotions will lie to you. You will cry 24/7 if it were upto the devil. He brings in schemes like, you mistook the vision, you will never get married, you will not have children, you are stupid to wait on God, just settle on the man you have now. Liar, liar,liar! The devil is the father of all lies.
